This match was in the balance right until the end when Nette Robinson, with Black against Michael Larby on board 3, blundered in a winning position, making Richmond the winners by 2.5-1-5. Rob Taylor lost to the accomplished Abhay Patil on board 1, but there were positives for Kingston on the other two boards: a fine victory for Anqi Yang against Aditya Patil on board 3 and an encouraging draw for Robert Chmiest against Richmond captain Karl Stand on board 4.
