We have been given a stand in the middle of the Market Square for the annual Kingston Saxon Fayre which is a reminder of the history of Kingston as the seat of the Saxon kings. We are looking for volunteers to help us explain and promote the game to everyone. Past events have demonstrated a huge interest from the public. In keeping with the historical nature of the event we will also be demonstrating the Viking game of Hnefatafl.

In addition, we will also be running a banquet chess table for more competitive chess in the All Saints Church from 2pm.
