At the 2017 AGM, Ken Inwood spoke about his early years of playing at Tiffin School where he learned chess at the age of 10. He reminisced that the best years for Kingston CC were when it played at Richmond Road Junior School. The period at the Working Mens’ Club was also good but the club left when the venue became too noisy.
